As you are aware we only have limited accommodation on site for smaller group sizes and for late bookings. As Caister is so popular, much of the on-site accommodation gets booked up very early as you can reserve your places up to 12 months in advance. So to overcome this problem we have a special arrangement with several good local hotels, allowing you to personally choose the type of accommodation, price, and facilities that you would like to use. This is a very superior option once the on-site accommodation is full. Many hotels are exclusive to Caister for the weekend making them part of the Caister Experience. Shuttle mini-bus services operate continually between the hotels and the Holiday Centre, although most hotels are all in easy walking distance.

Your Caister Weekender ticket price for people staying in nearby hotel accommodation is reduced to just £80, which is just over half price. Your Weekender Pass is exactly the same as if you were staying in on-site accommodation. We will process your booking in the normal way and issue you with your Caister tickets. You then choose your local hotel accommodation from the Caister Hotel Guide, we send you the very latest version with your booking confirmation (many of the hotels are also listed below) and you book this yourself directly with the hotel of your choice.

You pay the hotel directly for your accommodation. This has the advantage of allowing you to choose the exact type accommodation you would like, including bed and breakfast where available. Hotel accommodation is obviously a bit more flexible which is why many people coming to Caister always choose the hotel accommodation.

Alternatively if you prefer, you can also bring your own caravan or camper van. You can even bring your own tent if you wish as we have a superb camping area as well, with shower blocks and all facilities. This option allows you to stay on site as we have numerous tie-ups for caravans and camper vans with electricity and cable TV points all included for free. CAISTER HOTELS

We are pleased to provide the following names and contact telephone numbers of the hotels who have agreed to provide special rates for our Caister guests. When contacting the hotels (contact details have been provided) you need to explain that you will be attending the Caister Soul Weekender at Vauxhall Holiday Park, they will then be aware to charge you the ‘special’ Caister rates shown below. It is very important that you state you are attending the Caister Soul Weekender as many of the hotels hold (Block Book) all of their rooms for our Caister guests to use so that most of these hotels are exclusively used by us over the Weekender. This makes the hotels part of the Caister Experience.

You are of course, free to choose any different hotel of your choice if you wish, there are hundreds of additional hotels in Great Yarmouth. We will provide you with additional hotel information if required.

For the Caister Weekenders in May, you will need to book your hotel room for 3 nights, the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. As the event concludes in the early hours of Sunday night / Monday morning around 5am with the grand finale. >>>> You can then get some sleep before departing home on Bank Holiday Monday.

For the 3-Day Autumn Caister Weekenders in September, you should always book your hotel room for 3 nights, the Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, as the event again concludes in the early hours of Sunday night/Monday morning with the Finale and Caister late night After Party. So we always recommend you book your hotel for the Sunday night as well, so that you can sleep-over after Caister has finished (the event will finish at around 4am on the early hours of Monday morning).

NO WALKING INVOLVED - THE SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE RUNS VIRTUALLY 24 HOURS - Most of our hotels listed below are situated on or near the main promenade along Great Yarmouth sea-front. They are approximately 10 to 15 minutes from the Weekender. So that you don’t have to walk or drive we have regular mini-bus shuttle services which operates between the hotels and the event all day and night, until at least 5am. The Mini-bus services run directly between the hotels and Caister Reception. Also many local taxis are always available.
